Baseball Recap: Shiloh Takes a Loss

Shiloh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Decatur Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 last Monday.

Shiloh saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylen Seabrooks, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Seabrooks has posted since back in February of 2024.

Shiloh's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Decatur, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-13.

Coming up, Decatur is taking a road trip to face off against Holton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Shiloh will be paying especially close attention to Decatur's match: after Decatur faces off against Holton, they'll take on Shiloh again at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
