Basketball Recap: Providence Comes Up Short

Providence lost against Burbank back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers were beaten by the Bulldogs 74-12. The game marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Providence now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Burbank, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Providence will square off against Monrovia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burbank, they will venture away from home to take on Arcadia at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
