Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Strong Rock Christian walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Trojans back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Strong Rock Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Strong Rock Christian is on the road again on Friday to play First Presbyterian Day at 4:00 p.m. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Tattnall Square Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
