Basketball Recap: Creekview Takes a Loss

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Creekview was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Coronado Thunderbirds and fell 66-30. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 801st, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 209th).

Coronado got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Roberto Lopez out in front who went 7 of 9 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jazhiel Herrera, who posted eight points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.
