Baseball Game Preview: Two Rivers Raiders vs. New Holstein Huskies

Two Rivers hasn't had much luck against New Holstein recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Two Rivers after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Roncalli, falling 9-3.

Logan Hansen made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. Ethan Schramm was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, New Holstein fell victim to Plymouth and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Panthers. The Huskies have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

New Holstein's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Two Rivers, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
