Softball Recap: Gordon Lee Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Gordon Lee was feeling good fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Christian Heritage last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Dade County Wolverines by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Gordon Lee's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-6. As for Dade County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 24-4.

Gordon Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dade County, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Northwest Whitfield at 5:30 p.m.
