Baseball Game Preview: Crisp County Cougars vs. Columbus Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Crisp County will face off against Columbus. The Cougars will face off against the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Crisp County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over Columbus.

For Columbus' part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Axel Serra, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Crisp County has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-19 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-16.
