Volleyball Recap: Lake Mead Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lake Mead Christian Academy lost against GV Christian on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Guardians. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Olivia Torres was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six games.

Lake Mead Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for GV Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, GV Christian will square off against Founders Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Mead Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Guardians' contest: after the Guardians face off against Awaken Christian, they'll take on Lake Mead Christian Academy again at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th.
