Basketball Recap: Upper Dublin Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

It's playoff time, and Upper Dublin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They snuck past the Central Bucks East Patriots with a 30-24 victory on Friday. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Patriots are ranked 43rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upper Dublin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Megan Ngo out in front who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamia Clark, who scored seven points and ten boards.

Upper Dublin is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Central Bucks East and nudges their season record down to 22-7.

Upper Dublin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-46 defeat against Wilson on the 7th. As for Central Bucks East, they have also already played their next game, a 48-28 loss against Cardinal O'Hara on the 7th.
