Preview: Ridgway Elker vs. Coudersport Falcons
The Ridgway Elker will head out on the road to face off against the Coudersport Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coudersport took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridgway, who comes in off a win.
Two weeks ago, Ridgway made easy work of Clarion Area and carried off a 44-22 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ridgway.
Meanwhile, Coudersport's 16-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell to Port Allegany 42-36. Coudersport has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ridgway's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Coudersport, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Ridgway was able to grind out a solid win over Coudersport in their previous meeting back in February, winning 45-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridgway since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
