Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Presbyterian Triumphs

Lakewood Presbyterian's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against Atlas Prep as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Lakewood Presbyterian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-7, 25-23.

Kinson Zoeh had a dynamite game, getting nine kills, nine aces, three digs, and two blocks. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high.

Lakewood Presbyterian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Atlas Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Lakewood Presbyterian will be playing at home against Lakeland Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Atlas Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep on the 5th.
