The Slippery Rock Rockets will challenge Oakland Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Slippery Rock is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season.

Slippery Rock heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Saturday. They fell just short of Franklin by a score of 44-42. The Rockets have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Despite their loss, Slippery Rock saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Madison Romanovich, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Cj Sabo, who posted 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Oakland Catholic waltzed into their match on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-50 win over the Cougars.

Oakland Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Slippery Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-7.
