West Forsyth's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to North Forsyth on Friday. West Forsyth came out on top in a nail-biter against North Forsyth, sneaking past 6-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

West Forsyth got a great performance from Jacob Sheckter as he pitched 6.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. What's more, Sheckter gave up only three walks, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Charlie Delp, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Ethan Bayer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

West Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for North Forsyth, their record is now an identical 11-7.
