Soccer Recap: Fowler Falls Short of Mclane in the Playoffs

Fowler and McLane squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Fowler had to settle for second. They fell just short of the McLane Highlanders by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Redcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for McLane, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Fowler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McLane, they will take on Porterville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McLane is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
