Bloomingdale came out on top against Sumner on Tuesday thanks in part to Natalie Cable's efforts. Cable made a splash, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. It looks like she has Sumner's number considering she had a big game the last time she faced them back in March of 2024. Cable has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Cable and Bloomingdale will head out on the road to square off against East Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
