Football Game Preview: Northern Bedford County Panthers vs. Meyersdale Red Raiders + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Ben Clark and Spencer Whitfield are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Northern Bedford County Panthers will head out to face off against the Meyersdale Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northern Bedford County comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Northern Bedford County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 26-21 to Tussey Mountain.

Northern Bedford County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kolson Feathers and Connor Donaldson.

Meanwhile, while Meyersdale put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Berlin Brothersvalley. The Red Raiders came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 10-0. Those ten points were actually the fewest the Red Raiders have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory made it two in a row for Meyersdale and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Northern Bedford County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Northern Bedford County strolled past Meyersdale in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 30-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
