Basketball Recap: Coventry Christian Takes a Loss

Coventry Christian played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Ephrata Mennonite Legends, falling 46-20. Coventry Christian's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Coventry Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kayla Tinkey posted eight points.

Coventry Christian's record is now 2-13-1. As for Ephrata Mennonite, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Coventry Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-14 defeat against Lancaster County Christian on the 24th. Ephrata Mennonite has also already played their next contest, a 52-30 loss against New Covenant Christian on the 27th.
