Recap: Florin Panthers vs. Cordova Lancers
The Florin Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 55-10 loss at the hands of Cordova. Florin has not had much luck with Cordova recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Megan Sherman, who scored five points.
Florin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Cordova, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-13 record this season.
Florin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cordova, they will square off against Ceres at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Cordova sitting on four straight wins and Ceres on seven.
