Soccer Game Preview: Westmont vs. Lincoln

The Westmont Warriors will challenge the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Westmont's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Gunderson with a sharp 4-0 victory.

Lujyne Shalaby and Lily Bankosh scored all four of Westmont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Lincoln made sure to put some goals up on the board against Prospect on Thursday. They blew past the Panthers 4-1. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Lincoln is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four games. As for Westmont, their win bumped their record up to 3-10-1.
