Roosevelt lost against Waukee back in July of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roughriders took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Roughriders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Waukee, their win bumped their record up to 13-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roosevelt beat the Warriors by a score of 7-2 later that day.
