Baseball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was the 6-2 winner over Wisconsin Heights when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vanguards on Friday.

Marshall dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wisconsin Heights, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will square off against Adams-Friendship at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wisconsin Heights, they will challenge Poynette at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
