Soccer Recap: Strathmore Comes Up Short

Strathmore lost against Lindsay on January 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Strathmore Spartans lost 4-1 to the Lindsay Cardinals. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strathmore's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-5. As for Lindsay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10-1 record this season.

Strathmore will challenge Orange Cove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Strathmore is facing Orange Cove at the right time seeing as Orange Cove is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lindsay, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lindsay face off against the Woodlake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lindsay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.
