Soccer Recap: Davis County Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pleasant Valley, Davis County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Pella Dutch. That's more bragging rights for Davis County, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Davis County's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5-2. As for Pella, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2-3.

Looking ahead, Davis County will challenge Fairfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pella, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Ottumwa on the 28th.
