Softball Recap: Heritage's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Heritage couldn't beat Gilmer on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Generals came up short against the Bobcats, falling 16-4. The loss put an end to the Generals' undefeated start to the season.

Collins Fletcher was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Heritage fell to 2-1. As for Gilmer, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Heritage will square off against Ringgold at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gilmer will be paying especially close attention to the Generals' game: after the Generals face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Gilmer again at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
