Soccer Recap: Verdugo Hills Takes a Loss

Verdugo Hills lost against Paramount back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Verdugo Hills Dons fell just short of the Paramount Pirates by a score of 1-0.

Verdugo Hills' loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Paramount, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Verdugo Hills will welcome South Gate at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Verdugo Hills' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Paramount, they will take on Warren at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Warren will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Paramount surely won't give up without a fight.
