Softball Recap: Westran Hornets vs. Mark Twain Tigers
Westran had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 6-7 to make it four. They lost 12-6 to the Mark Twain Tigers. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Norah Harvey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and eight unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Kate Hollmann was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Tagai, who earned two runs and one stolen base.
