Baseball Recap: Cedar Grove Comes Up Short

The Cedar Grove Saints lost 18-3 to the Mt. Zion Bulldogs on Friday.

Nathan Lewin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Cedar Grove's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mt. Zion, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Cedar Grove by a score of 13-3 on Monday.
