Basketball Recap: Wilkes-Barre Falls Short of Hazleton Area in the Playoffs

Wilkes-Barre and Hazleton Area squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Wilkes-Barre had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Hazleton Area Cougars and fell 71-24. The loss continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Wilkes-Barre's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hazleton Area, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-0.

As of now, neither Wilkes-Barre nor Hazleton Area have any future games scheduled.
