Briar Woods dropped down to 11-10 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Lightridge Lightning by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Lightridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch.

For Lightridge's part, the result came thanks to Matt Coleman's shutout, as he gave up just four hits.

As of now, neither Briar Woods nor the Lightning have any future games scheduled.
