George Washington is 8-1-1 against Huntington since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Highlanders at 8:00 p.m. George Washington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

George Washington is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Woodrow Wilson, who was ranked first at the time (George Washington was ranked 15th). The Patriots came up short against the Flying Eagles on Tuesday, falling 5-1. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, George Washington couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Ben Tretheway, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Huntington had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 5-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Huntington, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Huntington's win bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for George Washington, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-4-2.

George Washington beat Huntington by a goal in their previous meeting back in August, winning 2-1. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Highlanders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
