Soccer Recap: Sequoyah Falls Short of Johns Creek in the Playoffs

Sequoyah and Johns Creek squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sequoyah had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Gladiators by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for Sequoyah in their meetings with Johns Creek: they've now lost five in a row.

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Johns Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

As of now, neither Sequoyah nor the Gladiators have any future games scheduled.
