Troup County has gone a perfect 3-0 against Spalding recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on the Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Troup County has four straight victories, Spalding has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Troup County and Fayette County, and Troup County kept the tradition alive. Troup County was the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over Fayette County on Monday. Troup County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Hadley Johnston, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since September 2nd. The team also got some help courtesy of Sheniyah Philpot, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, Spalding lost 13-2 to Crawford County on Monday.

Ra'Khiya Duffie made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Troup County's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Spalding, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Everything went Troup County's way against Spalding when the teams last played back in August, as Troup County made off with a 9-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
