Baseball Recap: Orosi Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Orosi can now relate to. They came up short against the Woodlake Tigers on Friday, falling 9-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cardinals have suffered since March 28th.

Orosi is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-13. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Woodlake, Orange Cove, and Orange Cove. As for the Tigers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-10-1.

Orosi does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodlake, they will square off against Orange Cove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
