Soccer Recap: Mesa Verde Takes a Loss

Mesa Verde lost against Golden Sierra back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mesa Verde Mavericks lost 6-0 to the Golden Sierra Grizzlies. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mesa Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Golden Sierra, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-5-3 record this season.

Coming up, Mesa Verde will take on Woodland Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Golden Sierra, they will challenge Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Golden Sierra is on a three-game streak of home wins, Highlands a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
