Littlerock is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 25th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were dealt an 83-7 loss at the hands of Antelope Valley. The Lobos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Highland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Knight by a score of 54-45 on Tuesday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Hawks are ranked 711th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Highland has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Littlerock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
