Soccer Recap: Edison Falls to Sunnyside in First Game of Season

Edison unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Sunnyside Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 4-1. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Edison it sure didn't stay that way.

Sunnyside's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Madera at 3:00 p.m. on December 9. As for Sunnyside, they will welcome Central East at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
