Basketball Recap: West Comes Up Short

After flying high against El Segundo last Saturday, West came back down to earth. The West Warriors received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 46-32 to the Mira Costa Mustangs. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Mira Costa, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

West has already played their next contest (against Redondo Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mira Costa will host North at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Mira Costa surely won't give up without a fight.
