Paloma Valley has gone 8-1-1 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Paloma Valley Wildcats will face off against the Heritage Patriots at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Paloma Valley is headed into the matchup having not lost since December 30 and will look to keep things rolling. They blew past Hemet 4-1 on Tuesday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 933rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Heritage entered their tilt with Rancho Verde on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1.

Paloma Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for Heritage, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6-1 record this season.

Paloma Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Heritage in their previous matchup on January 7th, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paloma Valley since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
