Baseball Recap: Walker Takes a Loss

Walker lost to South Paulding back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-3.

Walker saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Whittingham, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for South Paulding, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Coming up, Walker will venture away from home to challenge Mount Pisgah Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for South Paulding, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sonoraville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
