It was a good run, but Williamsburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bettendorf Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by just one run.

Williamsburg's loss dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Bettendorf, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.

Williamsburg has already played their next contest, a 13-7 win against Davenport North on the 28th. As for Bettendorf, they are taking a road trip to square off against Muscatine at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Muskies will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
