Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Forward Victorious + How To Watch

Elizabeth Forward posted their closest victory since February 1st on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 win over the Mars Fightin' Planets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Elizabeth Forward can attribute much of their success to Mia Sostaric, who posted 22 points. Another player making a difference was Addison Wach, who had 12 points.

Mars' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cecilia Christy, who shot 56% from the field en route to 24 points and eight assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Cashdollar, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds.

Elizabeth Forward now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mars, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Elizabeth Forward has already played their next contest, a 69-56 defeat against Thomas Jefferson on the 8th. As for Mars, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 41-17 victory against Knoch on the 8th.
