The Windsor Wizards will face off against the University Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Windsor is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Fossil Ridge, who was ranked first at the time (Windsor was ranked 12th). The Wizards lost 3-0 to the SaberCats on Thursday. The Wizards' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
While Windsor ultimately came up short, they really made Fossil Ridge work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-22, 25-19.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Avery Smiley, who had 27 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Hallie Burroughs was another key player, getting 17 assists and seven digs.
Meanwhile, University had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.
Windsor better keep an eye on Livianna Aguilar. She was instrumental in University's win, getting 17 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Aguilar has posted since back in September.
University was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.
University's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Windsor has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.4 aces per game. However, it's not like University struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Windsor took their win against University in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wizards repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
