Basketball Game Preview: Paradise Bobcats vs. East Nicolaus Spartans

Paradise is 1-6 against East Nicolaus since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Paradise Bobcats will welcome the East Nicolaus Spartans at 7:00 p.m.

Paradise is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 58-21 loss at the hands of Durham. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.

Meanwhile, East Nicolaus beat Stone Ridge Christian 61-49 on Friday. The Spartans pushed the score to 54-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Paradise better keep an eye on Makinze Massey. She was instrumental in East Nicolaus' win, putting up 19 points. Brooklyn Hall was another key player, scoring 12 points.

The victory made it two in a row for East Nicolaus and bumps their season record up to 15-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for Paradise, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Paradise took a serious blow against East Nicolaus in their previous meeting back in January, falling 52-13. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Paradise was down 40-10.
