Baseball Recap: Noblesville Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Noblesville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Brownsburg Bulldogs by a score of 8-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 on Thursday.

Ethan Clark and Aiden Reynolds did most of the damage at the plate: Clark went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs, while Reynolds went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave Clark a new career-high. Zac Glander was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Noblesville's record is now 16-9. As for Brownsburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Noblesville and Brownsburg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Millers (ranked 29th) will meet Tri-West Hendricks (ranked 134th) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Noblesville 2.8, the Bruins 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Brownsburg will square off against Ben Davis at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (85 vs. 286).
