Softball Recap: Alameda Pirates vs. Englewood Pirates

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centaurus, Alameda was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Englewood, sneaking past 6-4. That's more bragging rights for Alameda, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Annalia Lucero spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, Zila Bobian was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Kristell Guerra was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
