Baseball Recap: DeWitt Comes Up Short

DeWitt blew Mason out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Mason got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since May 2nd.

DeWitt now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Mason, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.

DeWitt has already played their next game (against Lakewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mason, they will face off against Gull Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
