Basketball Recap: Faith Baptist Comes Up Short

Faith Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 50-22 loss at the hands of the St. Genevieve Valiants. The Contenders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Valiants apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Faith Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Genevieve, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Faith Baptist will take on AGBU in a tournament on Friday. As for St. Genevieve, they will face off against Holy Martyrs Armenian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
