Football Recap: Chesapeake Continues Home Dominance on Friday + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crofton, Chesapeake was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Severn Run Wolves a 10-0 shutout.

Chesapeake pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.5 points on average over those games. As for Severn Run, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chesapeake will venture away from home to challenge Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 7.3, the Eagles 14) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Severn Run, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glen Burnie at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
