Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shandon). They enjoyed a cozy 33-18 win over the Cuyama Valley Bears on Friday. For the Outlaws, this counts as revenge for the 0-0 victory the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Shandon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Cuyama Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Shandon will welcome San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cuyama Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Maricopa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuyama Valley is facing Maricopa at the right time seeing as Maricopa is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
