Softball Recap: John Milledge Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for John Milledge Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars by a score of 10-5 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Breaze Jones, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Emmerson Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

John Milledge Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .471. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
